Description

Similar to a desert before a rainstorm, we believe that developing countries are full of potential waiting for the right conditions to unleash a superbloom (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superbloom) of creativity and positive impact. At Bloom, our work weaves together elements of entrepreneurship development, impact innovation and social entrepreneurship around local and global challenges and the SDGs. We believe in transformative educational experiences supporting personal growth and the pursuit of meaning, soft / universal skills ( “entrepreneurial skills” ) development, and in the process build rich collaborations and communities of practice across geographic boundaries. Our hope is that through these efforts we can contribute to the development of positive, inclusive, and sustainable communities and economies, and to a superbloom, indeed superblooms, of opportunity around the world. We love pursuing project management excellence, for the individuals and enterprises in our programs, for our funders and partners, and for the communities we work with, both offline and online. We’re looking for someone with experience in project management and enterprise development, and a passion for social change and inclusive economic growth. (If you landed directly on this page, please also visit Join the Team, and About Us.) We’re particularly interested in finding someone with experience in entrepreneurship, MSME development, and/or online learning. Candidates must be fluent in English and Arabic (French also preferred), and be excited about managing relations with strategic partners. Ideal candidates would also have a high level of digital literacy, and comfort working with different online tools and platforms, along with enthusiasm for learning more. • Part-time ok to start (minimum 3-4 days/week availability), with preference towards full-time availability in the near future • Remote work / partial remote work is ok (some presence in Lebanon is a plus, but not required) • Initial contract is as a “consultant/contractor”, with potential for shifting to a full-time position in the future • Benefits (health care, pension, vacation accrual, etc) are available once people shift to full-time positions INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY Please go to https://www.bloom.pm/jointheteam-project-manager/ and fill out the form if you're interested in the job.
